1.How much is tuition? Tuition varies year to year and may be obtained from the school office. Tuition includes all books and curriculum.

2.How is tuition paid? Tuition can be paid in one lump sum, or it can be paid over a 10-month period (August to May).

3.Do you have a kindergarten program? Yes. We offer K3, K4 and K5. The half day schedule is from 8:10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (K3-K4 only). The full day schedule is from 8:10 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. Monday through Friday.

4.Do you wear uniforms? No.

5.Do you have a dress code? Yes. Girls wear knee-length dresses to school and culottes for activities. Boys must have their hair neatly cut so that it does not touch the ears or collar, and wear shirts with sleeves and collars. Tennis shoes are allowed.

6.Do you have computers? Yes. VBA has a state-of-the-art computer lab that is second to none among Christian schools in the state of West Virginia.

7.What is the teacher-pupil ratio? It is a ratio of 1 to 10.

8.Is the school accredited? Yes. Christian schools in the state of WV operate as Exemption K schools according to WV state law. We are active members of the West Virginia Christian Education Association and the American Association of Christian Schools. VBA graduates have never been denied admission to any secular or Christian college.

9.Are your teachers certified? Yes. Teachers are certified by God and VBA concerning their Christian character and capability to teach academic subjects. Full time teachers hold either bachelor's or master's degrees.

10.Do you offer an athletic program? Yes. VBA offers boys' basketball and girls' volleyball. We also have a cheerleading squad. We are members of the West Virginia Christian School Athletic Conference (WVCSAC).

11.What type of curriculum is used? VBA uses A-Beka book curriculum K3-8th. VBA blends some Bob Jones Press with A-Beka Book in 9th-12th grades.

12.Are electives offered? Yes. There is a wide variety of electives available. VBA offers more electives than other Christian schools in this area which gives VBA students a definite advantage in college.

13.Do you offer a hot lunch program? No. Students may bring sack lunches. Snack and pop machines are available for students to use.

14.Do you have a yearbook? Yes. A hard-bound, first-quality yearbook is produced by a student yearbook staff each year.

15.Must we be members of Victory Baptist Church in order to attend VBA? No. The student population is made up of about 35 different churches. VBA requires students to attend church on a weekly basis. Students attend churches that are Protestant, Baptistic, and non-charismatic in their beliefs.

16.What about transportation? VBA has always been very successful in arranging carpools. This helps parents to share expenses and keep the cost of educating their children at a minimum.

17.Do you participate in state Fine Arts Festivals and academic competitions? Yes. Our students have won a variety of awards in both academic and fine arts competitions.

18.Do you administer corporal correction? No, VBA has a variety of both positive and negative reinforcements to promote appropriate behavior.

19.What are your hours? VBA hours are 8:10-3:10 for grades K5-12. K3 and K4 have half-day or full day options.

20.Do you allow prospective families to observe classes? Yes. This is encouraged so that parents and prospective students can become familiar with the atmosphere of the school.
