  1. The URL for the login to iKnow is

          https://testadministration.ctb.com/iknow. 

 

  1. On the User Login page, type your Username and Password your network administrator provided you and click Submit. 

 

  1. From the Home page, select Create Test on the navigation bar on the left.

4.  Select a content area by clicking on the radio button, and then click on NEXT.

 

5.  Select a grade by clicking on the grade link.

 

6.  Select a standard by clicking on the link for that standard.

 

7.  Select an objective by clicking on the link for that objective.

 

8.  Select items (questions) to be included in your test by clicking in the check box to the right of the item.  (You can preview an item by clicking on the Printable Preview, or Online Preview, to the left of the item. )   Constructed-response items are marked Constructed-Response item (paper-only)

Items on last year’s WESTEST are marked WV.

9.  Continue selecting items and adding them to your test by clicking on ADD TO WORKSHEET at the bottom right of the screen.

 

10. When you are finished adding items, you can view your worksheet by clicking on VIEW WORKSHEET at the bottom of the page. 

 

11. From here, you will select a grade level and can name your test.

 

12. When finished, click DONE at the bottom of the screen. 

 

13. The screen will display confirmation that your test has been built and is being assembled.  (Once assembled, your test will appear under the “My Test Library” tab at the top of the navigation bar.  

 

 

         

 

 

 

 

 

Teachers may schedule CTB pre-made tests, newly created West Virginia aligned tests, as well as tests previously created in the iKnow site.  A seven-step wizard guides you through the scheduling of an online test session. 

 

 

From the main menu on the navigation bar on the left, select SCHEDULE TEST.

 

Test Wizard Step 1: 

Select a test to schedule.

 

Test Wizard Step 2:

Select your test options: 

:    Test Session Name

:    View or edit the test access code

:    Determine if a time limit should be imposed.

:    Include a tutorial session with the test session if you would like.

 

Test Wizard Step 3:

Select the test window, the dates and times you want the test to be available to students online.  You can also designate a location for the online test to be taken.

 

Test Wizard Step 4:

Select students to include in the test administration.

Add students to the test administration.

 

Test Wizard Step 5:

A teacher may assign a proctor to your test administration.  The system will assign the teacher as the default proctor if no other assignment is made.

 

Test Wizard Step 6:

Confirm your choices in steps 1-5 and make any necessary changes.
