Return to Technology Integration Site

1.    Click on File on the Main Menu.

2.    From the drop-down list, click on Save As.

3.    On the dialog box, click on the arrow to the right of the File Type box, and select Template.

4.    Click on the box beside File Name and name the file.

5.    Save the file on your desktop or in any folder you choose.

Whenever you open the Excel template, you can use it to create a lesson plan.

To save a lesson plan you create using the template, follow the Save As steps, but DO NOT choose to save as a template.  By default, the file will be saved as a workbook.  It may be helpful to save the file with a date that names the week for which the plans were written.
